A collection of stories written by local Veterans has been compiled in a new book. A Mile in Their Boots features a number of short, personal stories written as part of the first-ever Veterans' writing workshop. The book will be launched Thursday at the Military Museums in southwest Calgary. Melanie Timmons is the editor and Kent Griffiths is a veteran and contributor.
